  A beautifully designed 4-bedroom bungalow in Falkirk, strategically positioned on existing garden grounds with incredible views of neighbouring farmland. This family home features an integrated garage as well as a detached single garage situated to south of the house.

At the heart of the home, you'll find an expansive open plan kitchen and living area, with a separate lounge to the front of the house, illuminated by an impressive glazed gable that invites natural light to flood the space.

We successfully secured full planning approval and the building warrant, ensuring that every detail of this home meets recent building regulations and respects its surrounding context. 

  Helix were appointed to design this stunning 4-bedroom dwellinghouse, set in the picturesque surroundings of Cliesh, Perth. The property features a thoughtful layout, starting with a spacious ground floor that includes a large open-plan living and kitchen area, a conveniently located ground-floor bedroom, and a sizable rear garage.

The architectural beauty of the home extends to the first floor, which houses three additional bedrooms, two of which boast en-suite bathrooms. The house stands one-and-a-half stories tall, constructed from reconstituted stone with striking charred timber cladding and rendered features. It is topped with a durable standing seam steel roof.

Our client acquired this historic two-storey property, recognising its need for complete renovation and modernisation. They engaged us to design a contemporary extension at the rear and to redesign the interior to accommodate functional, modern living.

The proposed extension offers a sleek, modern addition to the sandstone property, seamlessly blending with its historic context without imposing on its character. By reimagining small, dysfunctional spaces and creating larger, multi-purpose rooms, the redesigned interior will evolve with our clients’ needs, providing a welcoming and modern home environment.

 Situated within the Arnothill and Dollar Park Conservation Area, this historic property was acquired by our client in need of a complete refurbishment. The project involved adding a single-storey extension to the rear of the house to create a more functional ground floor living space, and relocating the existing non-compliant staircase to provide better access to the two upstairs bedrooms.

Using a combination of reconstituted stone and render, the result is a sensitive yet practical addition to this beautiful property. The client has decorated the space in a contemporary yet personal style, adding their own unique touch to the home.
